Venice

My two weeks vacation is almost at its end and I can't wait until September. I'm going to Venice with Darling Mum. This is a picture of the hotel we're going to stay at. I can't wait!! Since shopping is out of the question (Italians are sooo petite) I'm planning to eat my self into a coma! Does anyone have any other suggestion on what to do when I'm there?

Lately I've been noticing a new trend amongst the teens. Colourful rubberbands around the calf all the way up to the knee and somethimes finiched off by a bandana. In this case, the girl to the left has a bandana tied around her thigh. This phenomena is called "Partille-Johnny". To be a full-blown Partille-Johnny you need a pair of oversized Evisu-jeans (preferbly with the logo all over the back pockets), a huge amount of selftanning lotion, spikey hair and, of course rubber bands.
I found this most amazing image in this Facebook-group. I can't remember if we hade something like this when we grew up... Did we??

This explains it all. Of course my lab is on holiday! Thats why no developed rolls!! How typical. Now I have to wait until week 32 at the earliest... Now I can rest a bit easier...

Missing film

I'm a bit worried now... I sent three rolls of film to be developed more than a week ago and still nothing... I know I have some good stuff on there. I fear that someone has put something in the mailbox just outside of Hemköp and ruined the film. But I don't know... Has anyone encountered someone messing with a mailbox??

Hawaii

People ask me why I'm only taking a two week vacation this summer, my answer is simple. I'm planning to go to Hawaii in February. When Sweden is at her worst, I'm heading for the sun to recharge my batteries. Hopefully I'll be able to save up... it's not going to be easy!

Blind and Deaf in Arlöv

This might just be the most tragic thing I read in a long, long time!! Translating the headline, is goes something like this: "Drunken blind man strikes a deaf man after asking what time it is".
