It sure is easy

It didn't take me long to unwind. Summertime sure is easy and Ella is the Queen.

Summer time

Finally! The moment I've been waiting for has arrived. Four weeks of doing absolutely nothing or whatever I want to do. I plan to be lazy, sleeping in, eating breakfast in the sun, grabbing a blanket and head down to the beach with a good book or two. Maybe take a bus or train to a new place and walk around and take pictures with my new camera. Who knows?

Got it!

I really want a new camera house for my Pentax Spotmatic and found myself searching the auction sites. I was bidding on a nice example, constantly being outmaneuvered. Then this caught my eye, an Olympus Trip.

The Trip 35 can be seen as the full frame 35mm version of the Olympus Pen camera. Isn't it cute?

Mad cravings

I want this! A Hasselblad camera for sale at a pawn shop for the minuscule cost of 4500 sek.

Or is it to much? That I already have four analogue cameras and one digital (not counting my iPhone). Can you have too many cameras?

Sharpen those fangs!

If you don't know it by now, the third season of True Blood is now showing in the States. And I'm not waiting until it starts on television over here, no m'am!

Crazy in Copenhagen

Okay, I went a little shoe-crazy in Copenhagen today. I came home with four pairs of shoes, a skirt and a blouse. And of course the obligatory bouquet of flowers.

So the total count is two pairs of ballerina shoes and two pairs of wedges. You might raise an eye brow to the pair to the top right. These open toe turquoise wedges with eye balls printed on, appealed to the freak in me. I don't know when I ever get the chance to wear them but I'll sure try.

Not so green... more like... dead

Reading darling Vs post about green fingers, a wave of guilt and shame washed over me. I like having green, luscious plants in my home. I've been neglecting my home now for several weeks (due not only to the work load we're all under) and come to realise that I have to take more care of my place. If work is a mess and you come home to a mess, where can you get the chance to wind down and relax? That is why I'm promising myself to have more discipline around the house. The plant in the image used to be a really nice orchid by the way... but I killed it.
