Skeleton

I love fashion but seeing these skeletons walking down the runway is breaking my heart. I can't stand the ribcages and hip bones poke out. Yes, the girl might be natural thin, I'm not dissing her. I just want to see my favourite designers clothes (Ann-Sofie Back, Fall 2010) on a model with just a little bit more meat on her.

Fall Fashion

In the midst of my summer vacation, I can't help to look around what's coming up during the fall. I'm quite excited about the Scott Wilson jewellery collection for Asos. As you might already know, I'm a big fan of big, chunky bracelets so I'm keeping a look out for the blue one in the image. In the "shops" in September.

Digital shopping

Last Thursday I made my first attempt of shopping clothes online. I'm no stranger to e-commerce but I've always hesitated a bit when it comes to clothes. How's the texture, smell and even more important the fit. Anyway, I took the plunge and now I can't wait `till the package arrives! Isn't this dress from asos gorgeous?

The Stripe

One of my favourite patterns of all times is the Breton Stripe. The Breton shirt was officially created by the 27th March 1858 Act which introduced this blue and white striped knitted shirt in the uniform list of the French seaman.
It was said that this stripe allowed to locate more easily a man fallen into the sea. Nevertheless I thought it would be fun to pay tribute to the Stripe for a whole week. I don't know how many of my co-workers noticed it...

I say no. I say no to pirate boots. I say no to pirate boots and leggings. I say no to guys with long hair, tied up in a bundle. I say no to girls with low-cut jeans. I say no to guys with not enough hair growth to acually call it a mustach. I say no to people with ironic, retro glasses. I could go on saying no but you get the point...

Lately I've been noticing a new trend amongst the teens. Colourful rubberbands around the calf all the way up to the knee and somethimes finiched off by a bandana. In this case, the girl to the left has a bandana tied around her thigh. This phenomena is called "Partille-Johnny". To be a full-blown Partille-Johnny you need a pair of oversized Evisu-jeans (preferbly with the logo all over the back pockets), a huge amount of selftanning lotion, spikey hair and, of course rubber bands.
I found this most amazing image in this Facebook-group. I can't remember if we hade something like this when we grew up... Did we??

By accident (and a misspelling) I stumbeld upon this clothing brand. I fell in love right away with this London-based Australian designer. As usual, the ANT!PODIUM line isn't available in Sweden. London, here I come!!

Summer time is almost upon us and I'm starting to think about what shoes to strutt around in. These all come from BIANCO. I kind of like the high gladiator sandals (not very practical when it comes to tan lines...) What do you think?

Denna fabulösa herrväska tillhör en äldre herre jag fick syn på i lunchkön. Vad har hänt med handväskan för män? Finns det ingen alternativ till ryggsäcken eller att proppa jeansen fulla med prylar? Ibland är jag glad över att vara tjej :)

Blond no more?

Var hos min favorit-frisör, Anna, i fredags. Efter en stund, liggandes i den masserande stolen medans blekningen sköljdes ur, funderade jag på om inte min tid som blondin är över. Jag trivs i det blonda men när t.o.m en av Kallur-systrarna har blekt sig och klippt det kort börjar man fundera. Jag är väl medveten om att det är svårt att vara originell i dagsläget (Robyn, vi är alla bleka kopior av dig ändå). Vad ska jag göra?

Kärlek vid första ögonkastet! Dessa underbara skor från ELEY KISHIMOTO höstkollektion -08 hittade jag på mellandagsrean till en tredjedel av priset. Och naturligtvis hade de inte min storlek. Jag gråter ännu..
