It's official!

Yesterday I finally got the green light to tell people about my future work place. The 11:th of April will be my first day as the Swedish IRP (Internet Responsible Person). I'm really looking forward to new challenges, meeting new people and a change to the normal commute. I still have an hours commute but thats okey. Since I updated my status on Facebook, a lot of people have wished me good luck and I'm so happy for all the support I get from friends and colleagues. I'll miss some of the people like crazy but fortunately I have them close at hand. Most of them live in Malmö.

Spring Jacket

According to the weather lady it's officially spring in Skåne! And the coming of warmer days brings out the age long question of outer ware. I still have my lovely Whyred coat but I don't want to wear that all the time, it's a bit delicate. So I'm looking at three others, please tell me what you think.

I really like trench coats but I look like a turd in certain camel-colours. I get completely washed out.

Maybe a blazer will do the trick?

Is this a wierd colour? They call it tobacco...

The Fighter

Yesterday, me and David went to the cinema. David came straight from work and having missed the bus he had a hard time settling down in the dark movie theatre. David got gift cards from work that all expire today so a lot of his co-workers also took the chance to see a movie.

The movie was really good. It deserved all the Oscars it could get. I was very fascinated with the costumes. Maybe the 80's is coming back! And besides... Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale in the same movie? Yes, please.

Road block

There comes a time in everyone's life where you have to take a step back and look at where you're going. I guess I'm at one of those cross roads right now. I don't know if it's because it's almost spring, all that latent energy waiting to be released. So I decided to take some time to figure out what I want to happen...

Bastard #2

To celebrate David's upcoming birthday, I booked a table at Bastard. As usual, the food was AMAZING! Yes, bold letters, that's how good it was.

The deal was that we wouldn't order the same thing so that we could try more dishes. And no, we didn't spoon-feed each other! A little class, please! I took the pig head with apple and kohlrabi for starters, pig shoulder with a salad of treviso, oranges and hazelnuts for the main and for dessert a savarin with rhubarb and whiped cream. Brave David tired the ox heart for starters and pig cheek för the main. Since he's not big on desserts, he went with cheese (which isn't a bad thing).

I've never experienced a dinner sooo quiet, we hardly said a thing to each other and when we did, it came out as moans. It was THAT good! If you haven't been there you have to! Don't get discouraged if it says anything like head or feet on the menu, of course you don't get a ol' big pig head on your plate. But If you're not big on meat, don't bother.

Blog Q&A

I haven't updated my blog in a while and sometimes you're just blocked. Just to keep my blog alive I'm posting a most boring and worthless Q&A. If I bore you to death, I'm sorry...

Q:At what time did you wake up this morning?
A: 06.02. 20 minutes before my alarm would go off.

Q: What was the first thing you thought of when you woke up?
A: Why have I woken up before the alarm three days in a row now?

Q: Have you called anyone today, who, and what did you talk about?
A: Haven't called anyone yet, but my brother called me in my way to the train station this morning, wondering if I was on my way.

Q: In what mood are you now?
A: A bit bored... restless...

Q: What are you wearing right now?
A: My favorite high wasted jeans, white T-shirt and a beige cardigan...

Q: If you could have anything at all to eat now, what would it be?
A: I would love a macaroon from LaDuree but I've promised myself to lay low with the sweets.

Q: What did you buy on your card when you last used it?
A: Lunch (a fish soup) and chewing gum.

Q: What website did you visit first today?
A: My Google Calender

Q: Do you have any plans for tonight?
A: Yes, I'm going to my boyfriends parents house to celebrate his dad's 65th b-day.

Q: Why should we read your blog?
A: I dunno. Because you like me?

Q: What did you do exactly at this hour last week?
A: Sitting behind my desk at work, working.

Q: Do you think you will get a compliment today, and for what?
A: No, I don't think so.

Q: What was the last thing you took a photograph of?
A: According to my iPhone it was this:

Hence my promise to keep the fat/sugar level to a minimum.

Q: Will you spend any money today?
A: I will probably stop by a florist to pick up some flowers for the b-day man.
