Being snowed in wasn't all that bad. After securing a hotel room and a plane ticket home, we ventured out on the streets of London again. On that Monday, we took a walk through Hyde Park and decided to make it a day of museums. Our first stop was the Natural History museum.
I really liked the exhibition of "Earth's Treasury", it featured many displays of rocks, minerals and gemstones. The chemistry geek in me absolutely loved the needle pointed minerals, the bubble shaped clusters of sulphur and raw pieces of sapphire wedged in stone!
